The way FishingBooker processes cancellations depends on whether they were initiated by the customer or the captain.
When customers cancel
When a customer requests to cancel their trip, their request will be processed according to your cancellation policy.
Your cancellation policy is visible on your charter listing page. To view this information, scroll down to the Policies section of the page.

If your customer breaches your cancellation policy, you will receive the funds they paid online on FishingBooker. This does not apply to cases of bad weather or extenuating circumstances when customers are eligible for a full refund.
When you cancel
If we consider the cancellation to be your responsibility, your listing will be penalized.
Bad Weather
As safety on board is of the utmost priority, cancellations due to bad weather are 100% penalty-free.
Mechanical Issues
Make sure to inform FishingBooker when you experience a mechanical issue. Having to cancel or decline a booking due to a mechanical issue will be 100% penalty-free if you are reporting it to FishingBooker after it has happened.
Failing to inform FishingBooker about this issue or update your calendar, and for this reason, canceling or declining a trip may result in a penalty. This penalty would affect your visibility on the platform and the probability of getting bookings.
