If you cancelled a trip that was booked before March 15 and took place before June 15 in an affected area, you may have qualified for FishingBooker credit. This is a monetary value added to your account, which can be used to pay the deposit of any FishingBooker trip you'd like to book in the next two years.
How much is my credit worth?
Your credit is worth 120% of the deposit you paid for your trip. This means we'll give you the entire value of your deposit, plus an additional 20%. We’ll send you an email confirmation with your credit balance once we process it.
How do I use my credit?
The next time you book a trip from your FishingBooker account, your credit will be applied to the deposit. Make sure you’re signed in with the same email address you used for your original booking, as credit cannot be transferred between accounts.
Credit can be applied to multiple bookings until it is used up. It’s valid for a period of two years from the date that you canceled your trip.
Please note that credit is valid for the trip’s deposit. It cannot be used for the remaining balance, which is paid directly to the captain.
What if I change my mind?
Credit is covered by a six-month money back guarantee, starting from the date that you canceled your trip.
To get a refund, just get in touch with us at customer.service@fishingbooker.com. We will pay you back 100% of the amount you originally paid for your trip deposit. As this is a full refund of the original deposit, it is not the same as the credit on offer, which is worth 120% of the deposit.
Note: Credit gained as a result of Extenuating Circumstance cancellations is deducted from the deposit, whereas other types of credits (gift, cashback) are refunded after the trip date.
