Saltwater Fishing

When running fishing trips in New York state marine districts, you have to provide the following documents:

• USCG MMC(we have to see the photo, name of the captain, and reference number of the document) 
  • Or Photo ID (if you provide the last page of your MMC)
• Party/Charter Boat License by the NY Deptartment of Environmental Conservation
• Boat Registration Certificate/Certificate of Documentation
• Proof of Liability Insurance 

Great Lakes

If you run trips in the Great Lakes, you'll just need to provide:

• USCG MMC(we have to see the photo, name of the captain, and reference number of the document) 
  • Or Photo ID (if you provide the last page of your MMC)
• Boat Registration Certificate/Certificate of Documentation
• Proof of Liability Insurance

Inland Fishing

If you take customers fishing in New York's other freshwater rivers and lakes, you must provide:

• Photo ID
• Guide License
• Boat Registration Certificate
