What are Quick Replies and how do I use them?

Learn how to save time and maximize customer satisfaction by utilizing Quick Replies.

    Quick replies are template messages you can create and use in your Instant Message conversations with your customers on both the FishingBooker for Captains App and desktop.

    You can use them to answer frequently asked questions or to share information that customers must be aware of before the day of their fishing trip. 

    To avoid retyping the same thing each time someone reaches out to you with an inquiry or a general question you can simply send a Quick Reply you have created and stored.

    How do I create a Quick Reply?

    1. Go to your messaging inbox in the FishingBooker for Captains app.
    2. Select any conversation.
    3. Click the Use Quick Replies button just above the messaging box.
    4. Click Manage Quick Replies and then Add new Quick Reply
    5. Enter the response title (for your own reference).
    6. Enter the response text.
    7. Click Save.

    Note: You can also personalize your message by adding variables like the customer's name or trip date, and the details will fill in automatically for each conversation when you use the message.

    How do I insert a Quick Reply into an Instant Message?

    1. Follow the above-listed steps 1-3 and you will see a list of your Quick Replies. 
    2. Click on the response you want to add.
    3. The response will be added to your Instant Message conversation.
    4. Edit the message however you like before sending it, and click Send.

    How do I edit or delete a Quick Reply?

    1. Follow the above-listed steps 1-4 and you'll see a list of all the Quick Replies you created.
    2. Click Edit to the right of the quick reply you wish to make changes to.
    3. Make the changes you need to your quick reply and click Save.
    4. To delete the saved quick reply, click Delete this Quick Reply and confirm by clicking Delete or Yes.
