Grouped Trips: What's Changing and Why

Learn about grouped trips, benefits, and the reasons behind these changes.

    What are grouped trips?

When you offer the same fishing experience at different departure times, for example a "6 Hour Trip (AM)" and a "6 Hour Trip (PM)", customers currently see each one as a separate trip. With grouped trips, these are combined into one where customers simply pick their preferred departure time.

One trip card. Multiple time slots. Fewer steps to book.

Why does this help with bookings?

When customers see several trips that look almost identical, same fish, same duration, same price, just different times, it's hard to tell them apart. Many customers get overwhelmed and leave without booking.

Grouped trips fix this. Instead of comparing five similar-looking cards, your customer sees one clean trip with all the details up front. When they're ready, they pick a time and book.

Cleaner listing. Easier choice. Faster booking.

How does it look to customers?

Customers see all available departure times directly on the trip card and pick the one that works for them before heading to checkout.

What happens to your trip details?

Target fish, techniques, and fishing locations from all grouped trips are merged into one combined list. Price, duration, and trip type stay the same. Trips are only grouped when these already match.

Nothing is deleted. Your information is just displayed more efficiently.

What do you need to do?

If the grouping looks correct, nothing. We'll handle it.

If the trips shouldn't be grouped (for example, your AM and PM trips target different species or fish different areas), reply to our message before the deadline to opt out.

After grouping, you can ungroup trips from your dashboard if you change your mind.
