The Booking Change Request expires after 48 hours. 

1. The reservation is Confirmed: If the other party doesn't respond to the request within the allocated time frame, the Booking Change Request is automatically declined and the reservation returns to its original state.
2. The reservation is Pending Confirmation: If the Booking Change Request expires, the reservation will be declined.
