Saltwater Fishing
If you are running saltwater fishing trips in Louisiana, you'll need to provide the following documents:
- Photo ID
- USCG MMC (we have to see the photo, name of the captain, and reference number of the document)
- Charter Boat Fishing Guide License
- Boat Registration Certificate
- Insurance Policy
If you're fishing in the federal waters of the Gulf of Mexico, you'll also need to provide Federal Permits, which will give you the "Federally-Licensed" badge on FishingBooker.
Freshwater Fishing
If you are running fishing trips in non-navigable freshwater in Louisiana, you'll need the following:
- Photo ID
- Boat Registration Certificate/Certificate of Documentation
- Proof of Liability Insurance
