Navigable Waters
If you are running fishing trips in navigable freshwater in Ohio, you must provide the following documents:

USCG MMC(we have to see the photo, name of the captain, and reference number of the document)
- Or Photo ID (if you provide the last page of your MMC)
- Lake Erie Fishing Guide License (if fishing in Lake Erie)
- Boat Registration Certificate
- Proof of Liability Insurance
Non-Navigable Waters
If you run fishing trips in non-navigable freshwater in Ohio, you'll need the following documents:
- Photo ID
- Boat Registration Certificate
- Proof of Liability Insurance
