How do reviews work?

    Reviews are a great way to attract more customers. After any trip booked through FishingBooker, the customers will automatically have the option to rate their experience. 

    If the trip is booked outside of FishingBooker, ask your customer for their email address so you can send them review invitations. That way, they can share their experience with you on FishingBooker, and help your listing grow. 

    Who can leave a review? 

    Anyone who has been fishing with you can leave a review on your FishingBooker listing. 

    If a customer booked a trip through FishingBooker, they'll get an automatic review invitation right after the trip. Customers who fished with you in the past or did not book through FishingBooker can leave reviews as well, but you'll need to send them an invitation through your profile.

    How do customers leave a review?

    If they booked through FishingBooker

    • We'll send a review invitation to the customer right after their trip.
    • The invitation is valid for 30 days. Once it expires, the customer can only leave a review if they receive a personal invitation.
    • When the customer submits a review, you'll be notified via email, and the review will be visible on your listing with a Verified badge.
    • You can view the review, reply to it, or edit your reply on your Reviews dashboard.

    If they booked elsewhere or fished with you in the past

    • You can send review invitations to your customers from your profile.
    • The invitation is valid for 30 days. Once it expires, you can re-send it.
    • When the customer submits a review, our FishingBooker staff will review it. Reviews submitted from your own email or IP address will not be approved.
    • Once the review is approved, you'll be notified via email, and the review will be visible on your listing.
    • You can view the review, reply to it, or edit your reply on your Reviews dashboard.
