I am a captain. Why was my booking change request declined?

When you submit a Booking Change Request, the other party has 48 hours to respond. If the request doesn't suit their needs, the other party can decline the request. For more information as to why the Booking Change Request was declined, feel free to contact the other party through our Instant Messaging System.

If the other party doesn't respond to your request within the 48-hour window, then the request will expire and it will automatically be declined.

You can always check the status of your booking change request in the Bookings section of our FishingBooker profile.

There are two possible outcomes when you or a customer place a Booking Change Request, depending on the status of the reservation at that time:

    1. The reservation is Confirmed. If the other party declines the request, the booking details stay the same.
    2. The reservation is Pending Confirmation. If the Booking Change Request is declined, the reservation will be declined.

Please note that, when a reservation is Pending Confirmation, only the customer is able to request a change.
