Linking your different listing calendars can be a game-changer, as it offers you a more efficient and organized approach to handling bookings, whether you're a charter operator, or a solo captain with multiple locations.
To link your calendars, follow these steps:
- Go to your Calendar in FishingBooker.
- Tap the Settings icon (skip this step if you’re on your computer).
- Select Link your listing calendars.
- Tap Create new group.
- Name your calendar group.
- Select the listings you want to connect.
- Tap Create.
If you have listing(s) on BoatBooker for your boating tours, you can connect your FishingBooker calendar to those listings, too. The process is the same – you just need to select the BoatBooker listings you'd like to connect to FishingBooker.
Check this article for a full walkthrough on how linking between the two platform works.
"I already have my calendar linked, how do I edit the group?"
To edit your existing group, follow these steps:
1. Go to your calendar
2. Click Link FishingBooker calendars - your calendar group(s) will be shown there
3. Click on Edit next to the group you want to adjust - here you can remove/add listing calendar(s), rename your group or to delete the whole group
4. Click Save after finalizing your edit
Blocked days due to bookings by FishingBooker customers will now be automatically synchronized across all linked calendars.
When you manually block a full day on one listing, you'll be prompted to choose whether you'd like to apply the same block to other linked listings.
Please note that this feature is only available when blocking an entire day. It does not apply to the custom option; blocking individual trips, or when manually unblocking a date on any linked calendar.
