On FishingBooker, captains are responsible for setting their own cancellation policies, which they can set for anywhere between one and 60 days in advance. You can see a captain's cancellation policy on the charter listing page in the Policies section.

Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email stating the deadline by which you may cancel your trip and still receive a deposit refund.
Example of a one-day cancellation policy as stated in a confirmation email.
If you cancel your trip before the cancellation deadline, you'll get a full deposit refund.
If you cancel your trip after the cancellation deadline, your deposit will be forfeited and sent to the captain.
Some captains have a "non-refundable" policy, which means you will lose your deposit any time you cancel your trip.
If your trip is canceled due to bad weather, or unavoidable circumstances, you may still be eligible for a full refund.
